DALLAS, TX (March 12, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 30 near Interstate 45 killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 30 near Interstate 45, said the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies arrived, they located a woman dead in the roadway. Reports said that a vehicle had hit her.

The driver of the involved vehicle failed to stop or render aid.

Also, reports noted that the victim’s vehicle was found wrecked and abandoned on the connector ramp from southbound 45 to eastbound 30.

However, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
