SAN PABLO, CA (December 8, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a devastating head-on crash on El Portal Drive near Glenlock Street killed two people.

The incident happened at around 12:45 a.m. on El Portal Drive near Glenlock Street.

According to reports, an eastbound BMW sideswiped an eastbound truck for still unknown reasons. Then, the BMW veered into the westbound lane where it collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Camaro.

Moreover, officers confirmed that two occupants of the BMW, a man and a woman, died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported the 20-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Camaro to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the area for eight hours but has long since reopened.
