RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (April 7, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a devastating bicycle accident on State Highway 74 and Taylor Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 5:14 p.m. on State Highway 74 and Taylor Road in the Good Hope area.

According to reports, a Toyota Tacoma hit a bicyclist. When officers arrived, they found the bicyclist down on the dirt along the right-hand shoulder.

Meanwhile, the pickup truck’s driver stayed at the scene, the CHP said.

Officers confirmed that the bicyclist was declared dead at the scene. However, the victim’s identity remained undisclosed as of this writing.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
