Devan Elayda of Fresno Fatally Struck on Highway 180 [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (November 28, 2021) – On Saturday, 23-year-old Devan Elayda of Fresno suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Highway 180.

It was just before 3:00 a.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Cedar Avenue.

Investigating officers said that Elayda, a Fresno State student and originally from Hollister, exited her vehicle after pulling over on the freeway. However, as she was struck by a vehicle as she stepped into traffic. 

The authorities are investigating this fatal crash.
