Desmond Swenson-Leaks Killed in State Route 730 Crash
Walla Walla County, WA (October 30, 2021) – Earlier today, 19-year-old Desmond Swenson-Leaks of Walla Walla County lost his life in a big rig crash on State Route 730.
The fatal crash happened at 3:41 a.m. approximately one mile from the Oregon state.
Investigating officers said Swenson-Leaks was westbound on the freeway when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a big rig.
Responding authorities pronounced Swenson-Leaks dead at the scene.
The big rig driver was not injured in the crash.
