Thousand Palms, CA (August 15, 2023) On Monday evening, a Riverside County Sheriff’s deputy was hurt and hospitalized after a 2-vehicle collision on Ramon Road.

Authorities say that the injury accident happened at about 9:07 p.m. near the area of Ramon Road and Via Las Palmas.

Reports say that a deputy was transported to the hospital, the officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle was arrested.
