GARDENA, CA (September 26, 2022) – Sunday morning, a deputy sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Van Ness and Marine Avenue.
 
According to Sgt. Nikos Guskos of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at around 4:50 a.m. Also, the collision occurred at the intersection of Van Ness and Marine avenues.
 
Reports revealed that an SUV and a silver Kia collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the Kia driver fled the scene on foot after the collision.
