HOUSTON, TX (August 5, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, Deputy Garza sustained injuries in a disastrous vehicle crash on 9420 West Sam Houston Parkway North.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. on 9420 West Sam Houston Parkway North.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle struck a Harris County Sheriff’s Office motorcycle patrol vehicle that was escorting a funeral procession.

Paramedics transported the rider of the motorcycle, identified as Garza, to a hospital with shoulder and shin injuries.
