Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 215 Involving Deputy Eric Orr Sends Woman to Hospital
Omak, WA (July 9, 2021) – An Okanogan County Sheriff’s Deputy caused a collision on State Route 215 on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident took place on July 8 on State Route 215. According to the Washington State Patrol, Deputy Eric Orr was following a 65-year-old Okanogan woman. Suddenly, the woman slowed down and the Deputy rear-ended her vehicle.
Due to the impact of the collision, emergency personnel transported the woman to the hospital. However, there has been no update regarding her condition as well as the severity of the injuries sustained.
Furthermore, it is unclear what caused the collision but the WSP reported that Deputy Orr was driving distractedly.
In the report, there have been no charges filed against the Deputy. Further information will be released to the public once available.
