Injuries Reported in Houston Auto Accident on Chimney Rock Road and Caversham Drive
HOUSTON, TX (June 7, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a Harris County Precinct 5 deputy constable sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Chimney Rock Road.
The incident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Chimney Rock Road and Caversham Drive.
Reports said that the deputy constable traveled south. Meanwhile, another driver driving east collided with the deputy constable.
The impact sent the patrol vehicle near the edge of the bayou. Then, responders took the deputy constable to the hospital with injuries that were said to be minor.
Meanwhile, the other driver failed to stop at the scene. Officers found their vehicle a few miles down the road but the driver wasn’t found.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
