75-Year-Old Man Killed in Corning Auto Accident near South Avenue and Michigan Avenue

 
CORNING, CA (December 7, 2022) – Monday night, Denver Williams died in a head-on crash near South Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 5:40 p.m. near South Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2006 Kia Sorento traveling at an unknown speed attempted to pass another vehicle. Then, it collided head-on with an eastbound 2019 Freightliner Cascadia big rig.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that the Kia driver, 75-year-old Denver C. Williams, died in the collision. Also, paramedics said that the big rig driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
 
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
