1 Dead in Mesa Car Collision on Highway 60
MESA, AZ (November 27, 2019) – A 22-year-old woman died in a car collision on Highway 60 eastbound on November 24.
At about 2:00 a.m., the DPS troopers received reports of a car facing sideways on US-60 eastbound at Country Club due to a possible crash. Upon their arrival, they found out that Dennisha Lawanda Owens suffered critical injuries. Owens later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities identified 24-year-old Deanndra Oymay Woo as the driver of the other vehicle. When troopers came to the scene
Woo told DPS that she consumed cranberry, vodka cocktail and a beer around 9:00 p.m. Saturday.
However, Woo’s B.A.C level is .115. She’s arrested on a 150, 000 bond for DUI and second-degree murder.
