Dennis Shakelford of Hemet Dies in Motorcycle Crash on State Street [Hemet, CA]

Hemet, CA (July 20, 2022) – On July 18, 51-year-old Dennis Shakelford of Hemet dies in a motorcycle crash on State Street.

The fatal collision took place at about 11:15 p.m. at the intersection with Menlo Avenue.

According to the investigators, Dennis Shakelford was southbound on State Street when he stopped for a red light at Menlo Avenue. 

However,  when the light turned green, a white Hyundai sedan rear-ended his motorcycle as he pulled into the intersection.

The paramedics immediately arrived at the crash scene and declared Dennis Shakelford dead.

Reports say that the involved driver remained at the scene.
