Injuries Reported in Boone County Motorcycle Accident on Route O and Hancock Hill Road
BOONE COUNTY, MO (July 18, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, Dennis Lincoln and Peggy Tyler suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Route O.
The incident happened when 71-year-old Lincoln of St. Joseph rode east along Route O, 1100 feet east of Hancock Hill Road at 4:00 p.m.
Then, the motorcycle veered off the side of the road, hitting the ground.
According to the report, the motorcycle went airborne and flipped over.
Lincoln was transported to University Hospital with serious injuries. Also, the report indicates that 67-year-old Peggy Tyler of St. Joseph was a passenger on the motorcycle and was also taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
