Darrouzett Man Dennis Gensman Killed in Rear-End Crash on Highway 15 [Darrouzett, TX]

Darrouzett, TX (October 2, 2024) – A 72-year-old Darrouzett man, Dennis Gensman, was killed in a rear-end crash on Highway 15 Monday night.

The fatal collision happened around 7:05 p.m. approximately three miles west of Darrouzett.

Texas DPS officers said Dennis Gensman is driving a John Deere tractor on a slope east of County Road 10.

Due to the low light and the tractor not having marked illuminated placards, Andrew Skipper, 34, of Booker, driving a GMC Sierra, did not see the tractor.

The GMC rear-ended the tractor.

Unfortunately, Dennis Gensman was killed at the crash scene while Skipper was rushed to Ochiltree General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
