Denise Aguirre Sarver Injured in Rear-End Crash on Highway 12 [Walla Walla, WA]

Walla Walla, WA (January 22, 2022) – On Wednesday, 64-year-old Denise Aguirre Sarver of Mill Creek, OR, sustained injuries in a rear-end crash on Highway 12.

Officers said 34-year-old Hipolito Gallegos Ponce on an eastbound 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse was behind Sarver’s 2011 Nissan Armada.

Sarver slowed for traffic and Ponce rear-ended her vehicle. 

Immediately, the emergency team took both of them by ambulance to Providence St. Mary Medical Center.

Moreover, officers cited Ponce for following too close, driving without a license, and driving without insurance.

Ponce’s Mitsubishi was totaled in the collision. Similarly, the Nissan sustained reportable damage, officers returned the vehicle to Sarver’s family member.
