71-Year-Old Menifee Woman Dies in Rollover Crash on 215 Freeway near Highway 74
PERRIS, CA (May 15, 2019) – A woman was killed in a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon in Perris.
The fatal crash happened around 3:50 p.m. in the northbound lanes of 215 Freeway, just North of Highway 74.
The victim was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer in the right lane when she drifted onto the shoulder. The SUV rolled over and struck a chain-link fence.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner’s official identified her as Delfina Corona Salinas, 71, of Menifee.
Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to call the Temecula office at 951-506-2000.
