Late Evening 3-Vehicle Wreck in Delano Kills One and Badly Injures Another
DELANO, CA (December 14, 2018) – One person was killed following a three-car crash late Friday evening in Delano, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 10:57 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 at Woollomes Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Mazda sedan and a black Nissan Maxima collided for unknown reasons. Two occupants, unknown if they were ejected from the crash, were then struck by a third vehicle.
One of the patients was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was badly injured.
Two lanes of Highway 99 were shut down by officials while they investigated the crash and cleaned up the debris.
