Wheatland Fatal Crash Involves Deann Middleton and Sheri Vigh of Marysville

Wheatland, CA (December 07, 2021) – On Friday, 66-year-old Deann Middleton of Rio Oso was involved in a fatal accident on Forty Mile Road.

The fatal accident happened at around 8 p.m. near Rosser Road.

A 45-year-old unidentified male pedestrian was walking in the northbound No.2 lane when he was struck by a Toyota T100 driven by Middleton.

As a result, the man sustained major injuries.

Then, 55-year-old Sheri Vigh of Marysville slowed to a stop to shield the victim for oncoming vehicles and to see the condition of the victim.

However, as Middleton was about to stop, a Chevrolet S10 driven by 66-year-old Randall Fox of Elverta, struck Vigh’s Toyota Highlander.

Vigh’s vehicle then was pushed forward and struck the pedestrian.

Unfortunately, the male pedestrian was already dead when the emergency personnel arrived.

Moreover, investigating officers do not consider alcohol or drugs as factors in this accident.
