Dean Tierman Struck and Injured by 1997 Ford Expedition on Interstate 5
Willows, CA (December 29, 2020) – On Christmas Day, 67-year-old Dean Tierman of Stockton was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 5.
The crash happened at about 7:41 p.m. when Tierman walked north of Highway 162.
When the Willows officers arrived at the scene, they found Tierman lying partially on the number two lane and shoulder.
Tierman incurred major injuries to his legs and face.
Immediately, two off-duty medics rendered aid to Tierman after the accident.
Meanwhile, officers said the vehicle that struck Tierman was a color teal 1997 Ford Expedition. Similarly, it was determined to have damage in the passenger side rear mirror.
