Injuries Reported in Lincoln County Rollover Collision
Lincoln County, WA (May 5, 2024) – 63-year-old Dean Swanson of Kennewick was arrested following a State Route 2 DUI crash Friday night.
It was about 9 p.m. when the collision happened eight miles west of Davenport.
Officers said Swanson crossed the center line and struck another vehicle. As a result, Swanson’s vehicle rolled and landed on its roof.
An 18-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl riding in the other vehicle were transported to Lincoln Hospital with unknown injuries.
Swanson was taken to Sacred Heart.
WSP officers suspect drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the collision and charged Swanson with two counts of vehicular assault.
