1 Killed in Rio Linda Pedestrian Accident on Elkhorn Boulevard
RIO LINDA, CA (August 6, 2019) – A pedestrian died in an accident on Elkhorn Boulevard on August 5.
The female pedestrian walked across the road with two other people on West Elkhorn Boulevard and Marysville Boulevard. At about 5:00 a.m., a vehicle struck and killed her, CHP Officer Mike Zerfas said.
The involved driver remained at the scene and helped with the authorities. Furthermore, officers also questioned the two people who walked with the woman. Police didn’t arrest anyone.
The crash shut down Elkhorn Boulevard for about an hour and a half while authorities investigate.
