Deadly Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 280 [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (March 11, 2022) On Thursday, a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 280 resulted in a reported fatality but the driver who initiated the accident.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the fatal accident happened at about 11:17 p.m. at the Saratoga Avenue off-ramp.

Moreover, the crash caused a Sig-alert to be issued.

Additionally, Highway 280 and the off-ramp were blocked due to the incident as of 11:31 p.m.

Later reports revealed Scott St. Amand, now deceased, caused the San Jose crash.
