NORTHRIDGE, CA (August 11, 2024) – Friday night, a deadly motorcycle accident on Tampa Avenue and Plummer Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 10:10 p.m. on Tampa Avenue and Plummer Street.

According to reports, a 32-year-old motorcyclist was heading east on Tampa when a vehicle hit him, south on Plummer.

Meanwhile, witnesses reported that the driver, described as a man, fled south on Plummer Avenue without stopping.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. The investigation is being handled by the department’s West Traffic Division.
