Deadly Morning Traffic Collision on Highway 101 [Chualar, CA]

Chualar, CA (April 23, 2022) On Friday morning, a traffic collision on Highway 101 claimed the life of at least 1 person.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened around 5:30 a.m. near Chualar.

Reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) say that the crash closed both lanes of the highway

The CHP has reopened the highway since.

Furthermore, CHP-Monterey is conducting an investigation to determine the probable cause of the crash.
