SAN DIEGO, CA (April 29, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, a person died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in a parking lot on Eight Avenue.
 
According to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros, the incident occurred at about 4:35 a.m. near Eighth Avenue and B Street intersection.
 
Officer Delimitros added that a black Ford F-150 with a flatbed hit and yanked the victim across the parking lot. After the collision, the driver of the truck escaped the crash scene. At this time, the authorities are still trying to find out which direction the driver went.
 
When the responding units arrived at the scene, they found the male victim. The police believed that the victim was in his 30s. Moreover, the responders transported him to a hospital due to his injuries. Unfortunately, the man later died at the hospital.
