Deadly Head-On Crash on Campus Park Drive Kills 1 [Bakersfield, CA]

2 Men Injured in Fatal 2-Vehicle Accident on Campus Park Drive

Bakersfield, CA (April 19, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, a head-on crash on Campus Park Drive left a woman dead and 2 men injured.

According to BPD, the fatal 2-vehicle accident happened at about 5:44 p.m. on the 10700 block of Campus Park Drive.

Reports say that a male driver on an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a westbound car head-on.

Authorities say that the male drivers vehicle had another male passenger and both were injured due to the collision. Both men were taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the other car’s female driver sustained major injuries and officials pronounced her dead at the scene.

BPD is investigating the 2-vehicle accident and has not released further details.
