Deadly Crash on South Lander Street Kills Pedestrian [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (March 17, 2023) On Thursday evening, a deadly crash on South Lander Street killed a 40-year-old female pedestrian.

Authorities say that the fatal hit-and-run crash happened at the intersection with 4th Avenue South in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood.

According to Seattle PD, a white 2015-2023 Dodge Charger fatally struck a woman, afterward fled the scene at high speed.

Rescuers found the female unresponsive on the roadway. Despite lifesaving measures, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.

SPD are actively searching for the suspect driver and vehicle in the 4th Avenue South hit-and-run crash.
