40-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on 4th Avenue South

Seattle, WA (March 17, 2023) On Thursday evening, a deadly crash on South Lander Street killed a 40-year-old female pedestrian.

Authorities say that the fatal hit-and-run crash happened at the intersection with 4th Avenue South in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood.

According to Seattle PD, a white 2015-2023 Dodge Charger fatally struck a woman, afterward fled the scene at high speed.

Rescuers found the female unresponsive on the roadway. Despite lifesaving measures, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene.
