1 Person Killed in Horrific Traffic Crash on Highway 101
Palo Alto, CA (June 1, 2024) On Friday morning, a person was killed after a tragic car crash on Highway 101.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic collision happened at about 2:55 a.m. on Highway 101 at San Antonio Road.
Reports say that the collision involved a red SUV and a silver sedan. Officials say that the SUV pulled over for a car issue, but for an unexplained reason, the SUV drifted back into traffic and was rear-ended by the sedan.
The SUV driver stepped out of their vehicle and that’s when a tractor crashed into the vehicle, forcing the driver to be dragged with the vehicle.
Authorities pronounced the SUV driver dead at the scene. CHP described the driver as a man in his mid-20 to 30.
CHP is investigating the fatal crash.
