Dallas Police Searching Suspect in Fatal Traffic Collision near Jim Miller Road
Dallas, TX (July 1, 2023, 2023) On Friday morning, a bicycle rider died after a bicycle accident on Scyene Road, in Pleasant Grove.
Dallas PD says that the fatal traffic collision happened around 5:30 a.m. east of Jim Miller Road.
Officials say that a black SUV struck a bicyclist the fled the scene after the collision.
Authorities say that medics rushed the victim to a hospital, however, the rider succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are searching for the suspect driver and vehicle, described as a black 200 to 2006 GMC Yukon or Denali SUV with a bright blue headlight, black wheels, and a chrome front bumper. Officials say that the SUV will be missing the front GMC grill and the lower part of the front bumper.
