Houston, TX (July 24, 2024) On Monday evening, a man was pronounced dead after an auto-pedestrian crash on I-45.

According to the Houston Police Department, the deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 11:45 p.m. on Interstate 45 at Aldine Bender Road.

Reports say that first responders arrived at the scene and found a male pedestrian on the side of the southbound lanes.

Officials say that a car struck a man walking across the freeway. The driver stayed a the scene and attempted to save the man’s life.
