San Mateo, CA(October 6, 2023) On Thursday morning, a person was killed after multiple vehicles struck them in an auto-pedestrian crash on Highway 101.

According to the CHP, the fatal crash happened at about 6:19 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 at the Grand Avenue off-ramp.

Reports say that multiple vehicles repeatedly hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No vehicles stopped to aid the fallen person.

CHP is searching for the drivers who hit the pedestrian.
