Bakersfield, CA (April 28, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a 2-car crash on West Rosamond Boulevard left at least 1 person dead at the scene.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal 2-vehicle collision happened at about 1:36 p.m. near 100th Street West.

Reports say that 2 vehicles collided at the intersection and at least 1 person was reported dead due to the collision.

CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle collision and has not released further information at this time.
