Dawn Ritter Dies in Vehicle Crash on B Street [Marysville, CA]

Dawn Ritter Killed, Dominik Cash Arrested in DUI Crash on B Street

 
Marysville, CA (January 18, 2021) – On Saturday, 55-year-old Dawn Ritter of Marysville died, while police arrested 27-year-old Dominik Cash of Sacramento in a DUI crash on B Street.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 11:17 p.m. at the intersection with Ninth Street.
 
Ritter died when a 2004 Toyota Solara broadsided her 1998 Toyota Tacoma.
 
Cash was driving the Solara on southbound Highway 70 toward Marysville. He was at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour.
 
When Cash entered Marysville, CHP officers attempted to stop him with a spike strip. However, he continued driving onto B Street and Ninth Street against a red light.
 
That is when Ritter’s vehicle was struck.
 
Meanwhile. authorities said drugs or alcohol were a factor leading to the fatal accident. They booked the DUI driver, Cash, into the Yuba County jail. He did not sustain injuries from the crash.
