61-Year-Old Man Dies, David Vasquez Arrested in Vehicle Crash on Alder Avenue
Fontana, CA (January 13, 2021) – On Tuesday, police arrested 24-year-old David Vasquez in a fatal vehicle crash on Alder Avenue.
The deadly crash took place at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Hawthorn Avenue.
Authorities observed the suspect driving a red Dodge Charger extremely erratically.
Officers made a U-turn to initiate a traffic stop, however, before they were able to do so, the vehicle crashed into a Ford minivan.
A 61-year-old man riding the Ford died from his crash injuries. Meanwhile, the responders took the female Ford occupant to a hospital for her injuries.
Police arrested Vasquez and booked him at West Valley Detention Center.
