Injuries Reported after Armona Auto Accident on Hanford Armona Road
ARMONA, CA (September 20, 2020) – Authorities arrested DUI driver David Silva after a crash on Hanford Armona Road on September 14.
According to reports, CHP called for assistance from Kings County Sheriff’s officials just before 5:30 a.m. They requested KCSO to check for a reckless car in the 14000 block of Hanford Armona Road.
On their way to the scene, they received a report that the vehicle rammed through a house. Upon their arrival, they found out that the driver fled to Cedar Street.
Afterward, deputies went to Cedar Street where a witness showed them to a front yard in the 10900 block of Cedar Street. There, they found a man on the front porch attempting to break into the front security screen door of the home.
According to the deputies, they head a female yelling that the man said he crashed his vehicle.

The officers later identified the suspect as 51-year-old David Silva of Armona. They have detained him on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run, and resisting or obstructing an officer. Moreover, the police set his bail at $25,000.
Meanwhile, sheriff’s officials revealed that two deputies suffered injuries.
