David Seager of Riverside Fatally Struck on Day Street [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (September 01, 2022) – On Wednesday, David Seager, a 55-year-old Riverside resident, sustained fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident on Day Street.

It was just before 8 p.m. when the fatal accident near Campus Parkway took place. 

According to the authorities, Seager was walking eastbound where there is no crosswalk. Suddenly, a 33-year-old Moreno Valley woman driving an eastbound 2020 Honda Accord approached at an unknown speed.

Unfortunately, the Honda struck David Seager in the southbound lanes.

Immediately, the Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and rushed David Seager to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where they pronounced him dead at 8:25 p.m.

Moreover, the Moreno Valley woman stopped at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.

The authorities say the woman did not sustain injuries from the accident and was not arrested.
