David Sarault of Vancouver Dies in Vehicle Crash on Highway 503 [Battle Ground, WA]

Highway 503 Crash Kills David Sarault and Injures Christopher Stricker of Woodland

 
Battle Ground, WA (April 24, 2021) – On Thursday, 67-year-old David Sarault of Vancouver died while 46-year-old Christopher Stricker of Woodland was injured in a vehicle crash on Highway 503.
 
The fatal crash happened at around 6 a.m. near Rock Creek Road.
 
Sarault was northbound on a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer when he entered the southbound lane to pass the school bus.
 
He drifted back into the northbound lane but lost control of his vehicle and struck a 1987 Suzuki Samurai parked on the northbound shoulder near Milepost 13.
 
His vehicle rested in the trees beside the road and he died at the scene.
 
Officers said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
 
On the other hand, Stricker, the Suzuki driver sustained injuries from the accident.
 
Rescuers took him to the hospital.
