San Diego, CA (July 5, 2024) – On Friday, 59-year-old David Priest of San Diego resident, was killed in an Interstate 8 motorcycle crash .

Officers said David Priest was riding a black motorcycle eastbound on the freeway in College Area.

Investigators stated he was lane splitting when he rear-ended a Honda Pilot. Upon impact, Priest was thrown from the motorcycle and landed within the travel lanes of the highway.

Responding officers declared David Priest dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner said his cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.
