69-Year-Old David Meyer Killed in Interstate 5 Hit-and-Run Crash [Willows, CA]

Willows, CA (March 13, 2024) – 69-year-old David Meyer was killed following an Interstate 5 hit-and-run crash Sunday night.

CHP officers said it was about 7:40 p.m. on March 10 when Meyer was found lying with his upper body on the right shoulder and the lower body in the number two lane of the freeway.

At the same time, a vehicle was northbound on I-5 in the number two lane at an unknown speed. 

Troopers said the vehicle drove over the hips and lower legs of Meyer and continued driving on the freeway, failing to stop at the accident scene.

Officers are still searching for the suspect driver involved in this fatal accident.
