David Massaro and Lauren Barrett Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Silverado Trail [Napa, CA]

Napa, CA (July 08, 2022) – On Wednesday afternoon, David Massaro, 34, Lauren Barrett, 31, of Sebastopol, and Margarito Trinidad, 47, of Napa, sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Silverado Trail.

It was about 3:25 p.m. when the collision took place south of Wapoo Hill Road, east of Yountville.

A 2002 Honda driven by Trinidad pulled out of a driveway on the Silverado Trail. Trinidad’s vehicle entered the path of a southbound 2014 Volkswagen driven by Massaro at about 55 mph.

The front of the Volkswagen collided with the left side of the Honda.

Immediately, the American Medical Response ambulances transported Margarito Trinidad to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Similarly, the AMR also took David Massaro and his passenger Lauren Barrett.

Officers are investigating the cause of the Napa vehicle collision. They say alcohol and drugs did not play a role in the accident.
