89-Year-Old David Kenneth Morgan Dies in Bicycle Crash on Alvernon Way in Tucson
Tucson, AZ (July 7, 2022) – Thursday morning, 89-year-old David Kenneth Morgan died in a bicycle crash on Alvernon Way.
The fatal crash in Tucson happened at around 9 a.m. on July 7.
Tucson Police responded and located a bicycle and a white pick-up truck.
TPD said Morgan was riding his bicycle northbound on Alvernon Way in the bicycle lane where a northbound white Ram pick-up struck him.
Morgan sustained fatal injuries.
Meanwhile, the pick-up truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
Investigators said the driver in his 50s showed no signs of impairment and added that Morgan’s “unsafe movement” is the major contributing factor in the collision
Further investigation is ongoing.
