WEST MARIN, CA (May 29, 2022) – Saturday night, David Edward Goodman sustained injuries following a DUI crash on Tomales Petaluma Road.
 
According to CHP Officer David deRutte, the incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Tomales Petaluma Road west of Twin Bridge Road.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound Honda SUV veered across the double yellow lane. Then, it struck a BMW motorcycle heading eastbound.
 
Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist, David Edward Goodman, to Santa Rosa Memorial via helicopter with major injuries. Also, paramedics transported the Honda driver, 27-year-old Robert Chevoi Dauvgnnte Lomack, Jr. to Petaluma Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers later arrested and booked the Honda driver into Marin County Jail. He’s currently facing charges on suspicion of DUI causing great bodily injury. Moreover, officers confirmed that the suspect was released from jail and was unreachable at this time.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
