David Ducoing of Riverside Dies in Tyler Street Collision [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (April 20, 2022) – On Monday, David Ducoing, 48, of Riverside lost his life in a Tyler Street collision.

The fatal incident took place at about 8:15 p.m. at Wells Avenue.

Officers said Ducoing was eastbound on his scooter, heading to La Sierra Hills.

Ducoing entered the intersection at the same time as the southbound 2015 Chevy Suburban driven by a 29-year-old motorist, also from Riverside.

“The Chevy and the scooter collided as they entered the intersection,” Sgt. Ryan Taack said. The officers did not specify which vehicle had the right of way.

Unfortunately, Ducoing died on impact. 

On the other hand, the SUV driver did not sustain injuries and immediately stopped. The driver cooperated with the officers’ investigation and was not arrested.

Meanwhile, the authorities are investigating if drugs or alcohol may have been factors in the accident.
