David Carter Fatally Injured in Vista Motorcycle Accident
VISTA, CA (April 28, 2019) – A 30-year-old man died when his motorcycle crashed with a vehicle at a Vista intersection on Sunday, April 21.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, just before 6:10 p.m, David Carter, of Vista, rode his motorcycle westbound on Poinsettia Avenue. Then a 57-year-old man driving a vehicle eastbound on the road made a left turn in front of Carter into Specialty Drive. This caused his motorcycle to collide with the vehicle.
The impact of the crash ejected Carter from the motorcycle. He died at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The driver of the other vehicle and his wife were not hurt and remained at the scene, Lt. Dave Perkins stated.
Authorities believe that intoxication is not a factor in the incident.
