Injuries Reported in Red Bluff Auto Accident near Highway 36W and Monroe Avenue
RED BLUFF (February 14, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested David Brown after a suspected DUI crash near Highway 36W and Monroe Avenue.
The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. near the 21000 block of Highway 36W, about a half mile west of Monroe Avenue.
According to reports, an eastbound 2010 Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a westbound 2017 Audi for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders transported a 14-year-old passenger of the Corolla with minor injuries to a hospital for treatment. Also, they transported the Audi driver, 62-year-old Tracy Battaglia with moderate to severe injuries.
Furthermore, authorities arrested the Corolla driver, 54-year-old David Brown, for DUI resulting in bodily injury and child endangerment. Also, authorities confirmed that Battaglia was also driving with a suspended license for DUI and was on DUI probation.
