Fatal Pedestrian Collision Near Bascom Avenue Kills David Beck

 
SAN JOSE, CA (September 11, 2019) – David Garrett Beck, 28 died in a pedestrian accident on Union Avenue on Wednesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Bascom Avenue at approximately 9:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim walked eastbound in the middle of the intersection. After that, a white 2017 Chevrolet Volt traveling northbound on Union Avenue struck him.
 
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital. However, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office reported that doctors pronounced Beck dead on Thursday.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene. However, an investigation continues.
