SANTA ANA, CA (May 20, 2020) – Late Monday night, a hit-and-run on Raitt Street killed David Barrera in Santa Ana.
The officers responded to the crash scene just after 11:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Raitt Street, near West St. Anne Place. Upon their arrival, they located the male jogger down on the road and declared him dead at the scene.
According to reports, the man was crossing Raitt Street when the vehicle hit him, immediately fleeing the scene.
The authorities later described the hit-and-run vehicle as a white four-door sedan. However, the authorities weren’t able to identify the driver at the time.
