One Fatality in Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA (April 24, 2020) – Friday afternoon, 16-year-old David Bakalyan was killed while three teens sustained injuries in a rollover crash on 10 Freeway.
California Highway Patrol responded after receiving crash reports around 3:20 p.m., in the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway.
Reportedly, a 16-year-old boy drove a 2019 Dodge Charger, with three other 16-year-old boys, when he lost control and collided into the center divider wall.
Then, the car flipped onto its roof, throwing one of the passengers from the wreckage.
Consequently, all four teens were taken to a nearby hospital, where the victim who had been ejected from the car later died while undergoing treatment.
The cause of this collision and the sequence of events is still under investigation.
Moreover, investigators could not confirm if the Dodge was in a caravan commemorating the 105th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
