Daryl Taylor and Gretchen Hubbard Identified in Deadly Yuba City Crash

 
YUBA CITY, CA (October 21, 2019) — A head-on collision in Yuba City on Friday killed two drivers identified as Daryl Taylor and Gretchen Hubbard.
 
The fatal incident occurred at about 6:40 a.m. Taylor was driving a 1995 Toyota northbound on Highway 99. For inexplicable reasons, he crossed over into the southbound lane directly into the path of Hubbard’s 2016 Ford truck.
 
The head-on collision killed both drivers. They were the sole occupant of each vehicle. The 32-year-old Taylor was from Yuba City, while the 59-year-old Hubbard was a resident of Gridley.
 
The investigators are looking as to what caused the Toyota to cross from the northbound to the southbound lane. They have not ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in the collision.
